First Post of A New Year!

A very special year I might add! The year we get to come home! Yay us! After cooking and cleaning, dealing with stir-crazy kids on summer break, and running errands today, I decided to take down all of the Christmas decorations. Repeat after me...oh, whoa is Angie. Despite the fact that I was exhausted, I was mentally pushed along by this fact: the next time I open these boxes, I'll be home! Talk about motivation!

So everything is packed away and ready to place back in the attic. And the place looks bare, as it always does after Christmas. But it looks uncluttered as well, making you feel like you accomplished something. Surprisingly, this fellow...

didn't eat too much off the tree He didn't touch the popcorn, only grazed on every low level candy cane he could find. He's got a sweet tooth, that one does.

So does this one...

And she's got energy. Lots and lots of energy.

Kind of like the energizer bunny. She just keeps going and going.

By the way, these are some of my January 3rd photos. I'll explain...

My friend (who happens to be a photographer) challenged me to, along with her, take a photo each day of the year. And believe it or not, 4 days into the year, I am going strong. Translation...Angie's made 4 out of 4! I know you're surprised! I'm surprised! Only 361 days to go.

Here's today's picture...

Not the best. Admittedly I just remembered and snapped it quickly.

Let's contrast with this picture taken well before Christmas...

Aren't they gorgeous?! I'm so proud! But poor Brady wondered why her B was smaller than all the other letters. How do you explain that Mom's just a doophus and too lazy to fix it?

And this one...

How sweet is that?

And finally...

Not the most exciting picture but we all know how elusive he can be!

So that's it. No crazy Cavanagh stories tonight. Just trying to get back into posting.

Also, be on the lookout for Christmas presents. They've been ordered and should be on your doorstep in a week or so. Sorry about the delay! I didn't forget you. Never could...no matter how I might try.

Ba-dum-bump.

Love to all,
A

Glad to hear from you. Good thing that I talk to you everyday, otherwise I would not have known a thing about you for the last 4 months. Keep it up. You are too good at this to let it go by the wayside.

Love all "6" of you

Momma
